What we do

  • We’re building the single source of truth for company data across all industries. We process billions of webpages and petabytes of data every week, then apply several AI models to break them down into usable business data, developing a deep understanding of the elements that define a business.
  • This results in tens of data points associated with each company, everything from company description, alternative names, tags, business category & industry, office and retail locations, risks, size, classifications, products, certifications, and beyond.

What you‘ll do

  • You will forge and nurture relationships with decision-makers, using a consultative approach to identify and solve their business challenges through our solutions. Your ability to map Veridion’s offerings to customer pain points will be vital in securing new business opportunities and closing high-value contracts.
  • You will qualify leads, develop multi-threaded relationships with key decision-makers, and guide them through the sales journey. You will work closely with our dedicated Commercial team, while effectively collaborating with PreSales, Marketing, Customer Success and our Core Tech team to optimize lead generation strategies and exceed monthly and quarterly targets.

Your responsibilities

  • Actively engage with potential clients to establish relationships, using targeted approaches that reflect an understanding of their business needs and industry context.
  • Work closely with AE’s to develop a comprehensive understanding of our data products in the Procurement landscape, identifying key trends and opportunities for engagement.
  • Conduct initial outreach and manage follow-up communications, using personalized interactions to demonstrate the value of data-driven decision-making through our solutions.
  • Qualify leads through defined qualification criteria and evolving messaging and strategies based on response/engagement metrics.
  • Utilize multi-channel communication strategies, including personalized emails, strategic calling, and social media engagement (LinkedIn) to maximize outreach effectiveness.
  • Utilize data analytics to assess the performance of email campaigns, optimizing for factors like open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
  • Coordinate with marketing to ensure lead generation strategies are informed by the latest data analytics and insights.
  • Share feedback and data from customer interactions with the Sales, Product and Marketing teams to refine offerings and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Use CRM and data analytics tools such as HubSpot, AmpleMarket, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to track customer data, interactions, and progress along the sales funnel.
  • Analyze sales data to forecast trends, adjust strategies, and report on key performance indicators to senior management.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation targets by leveraging a data-informed approach to prospecting and relationship building.
  • Regularly update the team on data-driven insights that could impact sales strategies and lead prioritization.

Our qualifications

  • Before building Veridion, our 3 co-founders (Sorina, Florin and Mihai) worked at companies that impacted billions of users, having been exposed to diverse areas of technology that span from full stack web development to Big Data and robust Cloud infrastructure, as well as their product and business development proficiency.
  • This broad mix, critical to a true data-driven mindset, has been imprinted in our company’s culture since day one. And it massively steps up our game as engineers.

Your qualifications

  • Successful enterprise-level commercial experience, selling data-centric solutions (ideally DaaS). Experience in selling IT infrastructure solutions including data storage is not directly relevant for this role.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with evidence of consistently achieving business goals in previous roles.
  • Experience embodying a consultative sales approach, positioning value through data to solve business process issues.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors.
  • Strong Google Suite skills or equivalent, and a high level of comfort and skill in using CRM software such as HubSpot, or similar platforms to manage customer relationships and sales processes.
  • Proficiency with sales enablement and automation tools to streamline lead management and enhance productivity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Tech or a related field is preferred.
  • Curiosity about industry trends, customer challenges, and product developments is crucial, as is a driven nature to pursue leads and exceed expectations.
