Who we are

  • We’re a VC-backed start-up that has raised $9M to date frxom VC funds and private investors. Founded in 2019 by Florin Tufan, Mihai Vinaga and Sorina Vlasceanu, we’re currently a team of 50+ driven individuals, mostly engineers and technical people, investing our time to solve problems that haven’t been solved before anywhere in the world.
  • Even as a young company we already work with some of the largest enterprises in the world. We bring together exceptional minds and characters, people with a growth mindset, strongly committed to achieving high performance, both individually and as a team.

Who you are

  • Determined and resourceful, you prefer simple and straightforward communication and tend to be motivated by obstacles, not discouraged by them. You enjoy identifying and solving complex problems and don’t shy away from stepping out of your comfort zone, as you love learning more than you hate making mistakes.
  • A high-achiever, as proven by your extra-curricular, professional or academic experience, passionate about exploring the way different areas related to your activity impact your end results. You’re driven by your relentless curiosity and the desire for knowledge sharing with some of the best in the field.

What we do

  • We’re building the single source of truth for company data across all industries. We process billions of webpages and petabytes of data every week, then apply several AI models to break them down into usable business data, developing a deep understanding of the elements that define a business.
  • This results in 100+ data points associated with each company, everything from company description, alternative names, tags, business category & industry, office and retail locations, risks, size, classifications, products, certifications, and beyond.

What you‘ll do

This role sits at the intersection of data understanding and early-stage commercial engagement. You will start hands-on: working with datasets, running PoCs, understanding constraints, and learning how organizations evaluate data products. After this onboarding phase, you transition into the Enterprise Sales Engineering seat, where you combine technical literacy with commercial execution at an enterprise level.

This is for people who are energised by:

  • discovering and qualifying opportunities,
  • engaging large organizations,
  • navigating multi-layered  complex stakeholder groups,
  • and driving deals from first contact to signature with technical confidence.

What we value

  • We do remarkable work by building what others call impossible through breakthrough technology.
  • We’re loyal to what we’re building and to the people who build it.
  • We’re persistent in our mission, as long-term impact takes discipline, not luck.

What you embody

  • You do remarkable work through consistency, work ethic and your craft.
  • You’re loyal to the team you belong to and committed to building something that matters.
  • You’re persistent in solving what matters, moving fast so that impact compounds.

What it’s really like to work with us

  • We don’t settle for mediocre results and set our ambition up for the inevitable delayed gratification, as excellence requires significant time and effort.
  • We use the right tool for the job. No workarounds or cutting corners. Breakthrough technology declutters our day to day and gives us the space to channel our efforts on what can’t be compensated for — the best use of our skills and abilities.
  • We make sure there’s a fair exchange between what each of us offers and what we get in return.
  • We’re life-long learners who can’t stop, won’t stop at what they already know, striving to be better and see each other grow.
  • We REALLY dislike and discourage all sides of micromanagement. Everyone here has a strong sense of ownership (we’re like start-ups within a start-up).
  • We know from the get-go that excellence requires discomfort and it’s not going to get easier soon.
  • Our team is based in Sky Tower, Bucharest. Discussions around the office are often hilarious, mind-expanding and quick-witted. Our regular hybrid setup is 2 remote days per week after the trial period, which is fully onsite.

What it should really be like to work with you

  • You’re team-centric, knowing it gets you way further than acting egocentric ever could. You don’t look the other way when it comes to helping your colleagues succeed.
  • You’re humbly aware that real growth means sacrificing the immediate gain in favor of long-term rewards.
  • You demonstrate resilience, especially in front of failure, that is always paired with pioneering work.
  • As a big picture thinker, you’re equally comfortable with zooming in on a granular level, inclined to examine things from different perspectives and question the default.
  • You hold yourself accountable to deliver at your best and are ready to have your ideas challenged anytime. You value two-way feedback as a vital part of further improvement.
  • You get excited when exploring varied thought-provoking topics and feel this kind of conversations are worth having.
  • You see the benefits of face to face interaction, spontaneous brainstorming sessions and close collaboration that helps us move faster at the stage we’re at. You enjoy hybrid work and want to make the most out of connecting with people in your professional life, as well.

Our responsibilities

  • Update you on the progress of our recruitment process.
  • Validate expectations, goals and priorities with you.
  • Provide the tools and resources to help you do your best.
  • Give you the space to try new things out and solve the problems you’re working on your way.
  • Grant you the freedom and trust to make reasoned decisions and own them.
  • Share relevant information and encourage you to be an active part in discussions about what we’re building, how we’re building it and why it’s important.
  • Cultivate a healthy, transparent work environment where you can openly say what’s on your mind.
  • Protect your time from pointless meetings so you can focus on your work without interruption.
  • Listen actively so we can fully understand your perspective.
  • Provide guidance and actionable feedback for your further growth.
  • Celebrate your wins and give recognition for your impact.

Your responsibilities

Phase 1 – PreSales Core (first months)

You begin inside the PreSales team, working directly with Data Analysts, Product, and GTM. The purpose of this phase is simple: build enough technical depth and context so that later, your commercial work is grounded, credible, and impossible to bluff.

You will:

  • Work on PoCs alongside Data Analysts, GTM, and Product.
  • Read a client problem the way their own team would, break down client requests, understand constraints, and define a realistic PoC path.
  • Adjust and customize datasets to fit specific prospect requirements.
  • Investigate data issues, assess quality, and explain findings internally.
  • Prepare samples that reflect real-world constraints.
  • Join early conversations with technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Learn how organisations evaluate data solutions, develop an in-depth understanding of decision paths, blockers, friction points.

By the end of this phase, you’ll have a grounded understanding of our data dictionary, fill rates, output methodology, and technical capabilities in context of client use cases and solution applicability.

Phase 2 – Enterprise Sales Engineering (long-term path)

Once you complete the PreSales core, you move into a role focused on generating, progressing, and closing enterprise deals, with a technical foundation that strengthens every step of the process.

You will:

  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through targeted outbound and disciplined inbound follow-up, focused on ICP-aligned prospects.
  • Translate data, methodology, and limitations into clear, practical discussions with prospect teams.
  • Apply your technical and product knowledge in context, from client environment and vendor landscape to industry norms.
  • Identify nuances, constraints, differentiators, and blind spots across alternatives, and position our solution clearly against alternatives, grounded in actual use cases, highlighting our deeptech advantages.
  • Lead early conversations involving technical, operational, and strategic stakeholders.
  • Run demos anchored in complex practical use cases and real workflows, rather than generic replicable presentations.
  • Manage PoCs commercially by setting expectations, clarifying evaluation criteria, and aligning next steps.
  • Progress deals from initial interest to contract signature by maintaining clarity on requirements, internal decision paths, blockers and commercial structure.
  • Consistently close new business through accurate pricing, clean terms, and correct deal structure.
  • Work closely with our GTM team on account prioritisation and how different organisations evaluate data products.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to surface insights and opportunities, test ideas, and drive high-impact initiatives that strengthen the overall GTM motion.

Our qualifications

  • Before building Veridion (formerly Soleadify), our 3 co-founders (Sorina, Florin and Mihai) worked at companies that impacted billions of users, having been exposed to diverse areas of technology that span from full stack web development to Big Data and robust Cloud infrastructure, as well as their product and business development proficiency.
  • This broad mix, critical to a true data-driven mindset, has been imprinted in our company’s culture since day one. And it massively steps up our game as engineers.

Your qualifications

  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to break down a client request to shape the right approach for a PoC.
  • Comfortable working with data workflows: joins, filtering, deduplication, enrichment, sampling, investigating edge cases, and identifying quality issues.
  • Ability to assess data quality, spot inconsistencies, gaps, outliers, and structural problems; articulate what is blocking a PoC and why.
  • Hands-on mindset: able to move between investigation, dataset preparation, and client-facing discussions during the same cycle.
  • Clear, mature communication across technical teams, operational teams, and strategic business partners.
  • Comfortable navigating multi-stakeholder environments and understanding how decisions progress inside large organisations. You may discuss schema questions with data teams, workflows with business teams, and terms with procurement.
  • Solid experience with spreadsheets.
  • Strong English level (both written and spoken).
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python/Spark is optional, but helpful.

What we offer

  • The chance to shape an original product in a fast growing company, backed by VC investors.
  • A merit-based, no BS, impact-oriented and particularly collaborative work environment.
  • Groundbreaking professional challenges and the autonomy to try stuff for the very first time, no matter how experienced you are.
  • Real mentoring, intense brainstorming sessions and well-informed debates guided by a regular & straight-forward feedback philosophy.
  • Pioneering work at the forefront of Big Data, Infrastructure and Machine Learning that sometimes means relying on academic papers as our only formal guiding tools in moving onwards.
  • An engineering business culture where you speak the same language with your leaders.
  • The thrill of being surrounded by extremely smart, yet humble individuals, a stellar international team that will both enable and encourage you to leave your mark.
  • Fair compensation, ESOP and upward salary growth based on performance.

What we expect from you in return

  • High speed and uncompromising quality in your work.
  • A growth mindset, able to capitalize on unprecedented contexts through your skills and abilities.
  • An appetite to grapple with a variety of technical challenges.
  • The ability to quickly and effectively evaluate technical tradeoffs and translate them into relevant scenarios.
  • Strong problem solving skills that enhance the way you deal with the tension between brief and shipping.
  • Aversion to the idea of any customer or colleague struggling with what you delivered.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity, marked by your ambition to push forward with incomplete information.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for coordinating across teams.
  • Passion for software engineering, powered by the drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques (sometimes as soon as they launch).
