Who we are

  • We’re an early-stage VC-backed start-up that has raised $9M to date from VC funds and private investors. Founded in 2019 by Florin Tufan, Mihai Vinaga and Sorina Vlasceanu, we’re currently a team of 40+ driven individuals, mostly engineers and technical people, investing our time to solve problems that haven’t been solved before anywhere in the world.

What we do

  • We’re building a refined search engine for business data across all industries. Veridion takes an approach that’s similar to Google’s by providing business data enrichment with unprecedented coverage of SMBs, accurate classification and in-depth insights based on real-time updates.
  • We analyze hundreds of billions of webpages every month, then apply several AI models to break them down into usable business data.
  • This results in tens of data points associated with each company, such as the company description, alternative names, tags, business category & industry, office and retail locations.

What you‘ll do

  • You will collaborate across marketing, product, and sales teams to create visually compelling, user-friendly designs that align with our data-driven products. You’ll design intuitive interfaces, build product-focused POCs, and develop interactive prototypes that enhance user experiences. You’ll create innovative, brand-consistent designs for web platforms, marketing campaigns, and product presentations.
  • You will work closely with Stefan (Head of Growth), along with Alin, Auras, Cosmin, Cristina and Tudor, who have rapidly become the pillars of our Marketing team.

Your responsibilities

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to create visually engaging and user-friendly assets.
  • Create high-quality, product-focused POCs (Proof of Concepts), emphasizing user behavior and product priorities.
  • Design intuitive, user-centered UI/UX for web platforms and digital products.
  • Ensure consistency with our existing brand while bringing in fresh, innovative ideas.
  • Work with AI tools like MidJourney and DALL-E to quickly generate design concepts.
  • Use Figma to work with existing design assets, while being flexible to use the tools you’re most comfortable with.
  • Develop prototypes and interactive mockups to showcase design concepts.
  • Deliver high-quality visuals for marketing campaigns, product design, and presentations.

Our qualifications

  • Before building Veridion, our 3 co-founders (Sorina, Florin and Mihai) worked at companies that impacted billions of users, having been exposed to diverse areas of technology that span from full stack web development to Big Data and robust Cloud infrastructure, as well as their product and business development proficiency.
  • This broad mix, critical to a true data-driven mindset, has been imprinted in our company’s culture since day one. And it massively steps up our game as engineers.

Your qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design skills.
  • Strong understanding of product design, user behavior, and what matters most in digital products.
  • Familiarity with Figma (or the ability to adapt quickly) as most of our assets are stored there.
  • Expertise in Adobe Suite and any prototyping tools of your choice.
  • Ability to work fast and iterate based on feedback.
  • Experience with AI design tools like MidJourney and DALL-E.
  • A passion for data and experience in data visualization is a major plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams (marketing, product, and sales).
  • Familiarity with Slack and Notion for team collaboration.
