Deeptech Engineer Intern
You join one of the engineering teams (Data, ML, Crawling, PreSales or Delivery), based on what you want to do and where your skills add the most value when you start. You'll ship real code into the product inside your first month, ramp into the rest as you go, with the aim to stay on in a full engineering role.
The way we work is not for everyone, and that's fine. We'd rather you know now than three interviews in. We dislike every side of micromanagement, so no one will hand you a detailed plan. You'll own things before you feel ready and the pace doesn't ease up.

Who we are
- A deeptech startup of 60 people in Bucharest, building the machine that reads the company world.

- Founded in 2019, VC-backed. The team stays small on purpose, so decisions stay with the person doing the work.

What we do
- Crawl the entire internet and decide, page by page, what matters.
- Interpret everything we find with LLMs we train ourselves, in 125 languages.
- Resolve every source under the company it belongs to, in one living graph of 135M+ companies.
- Trace every datapoint back to the source it came from, so every judgment can be defended.
- Keep the history, so we notice when any one of them changes.
What you'll do
- Ramp fast on new areas, learning from engineers who built the systems you're working in.
- Ship production-grade components into systems that read billions of pages and serve some of the largest companies in the world.
- Work on problems that don't have playbooks yet, at the front of Big Data, ML, and infrastructure.
- Own real components end to end, code that survives real scale and traffic most engineers never see this early.
- Reach your first production deployment inside your first month, on features customers actually use.

What we look for
- No required stack, but you should be comfortable writing code. Use whatever language you know best for the recruiting challenge, and pick up the rest here.
- Sharp problem-solving, and the instinct to break down ambiguity and challenge assumptions.
- Discipline in how you think, build, and communicate progress.
- A drive to learn fast and ship work you're proud of.
- You'd rather jump in and learn by doing than wait to be taught.
