Company / Careers
Build the machine that reads the company world.
Veridion is resolving the entire economy into one living graph, and some of the hardest problems on the way there are still open. That's where you come in.
How we work
We ask the same of each other
These were true long before we wrote them down, and they'll stay true after you join.
Ask what would multiply it
The standing question about anything we build is what would make it ten times better.
Don't wait for a playbook
Most of our problems have no established solution. When no existing tool fits, we build our own.
Own your part, start to finish
The team stays small on purpose, so decisions stay with the person doing the work.
Spend perfection where it counts
Most things here get to be good enough for now. The data doesn't, its accuracy and freshness get everything we have.
Push back if you think you're right
If you see a better way, make your case and take it, the result is yours to answer for.
If someone's stuck using it, it's not finished
When a customer or colleague gets stuck on something we shipped, that's ours to fix.
Self-selection
Is this for you?
The work we do is hard in ways that don't show up in a job ad. Here's the real picture, good and bad, before you put any work in. We'd rather you rule yourself out in a few minutes than three interviews in.
You'll like it here if
- Problems that are still taking shape pull you in, and defining them is the part you'd miss anywhere else.
- You can hold a demanding pace when results take time to show up.
- Messy, contradictory, incomplete data is the raw material you'd rather work with; making it dependable is the whole point.
- You love learning more than you hate making mistakes.
- A rough version shipped today is worth more to you than a perfect one still being discussed.
- When an approach stalls, you drop it and try another.
- You keep moving without anyone checking on your progress.
- Seeing what you built running in the real world is the reward.
- You want to be in the same room as the people you work with, most of the week.
You won't if
- You need all the requirements and constraints handed over before you can start.
- You lose steam the moment the low-hanging fruit runs out.
- You expect tidy inputs, ready tools, and a path already cleared of friction.
- Protecting a clean record comes first.
- Every piece of work needs a meeting before it can start.
- Walking away from work you've already put in feels like losing.
- Handed real freedom, you wait for someone to point the way.
- You're mostly here for the buzzwords on your CV.
- Working remotely is non-negotiable for you.
How we hire
We'd rather be respectful than polite
Every step exists to help both of us decide. If we see mid-conversation that it's not going to work, even minutes into a call, we'll tell you right then, instead of politely running out the clock. And if you're the one who sees it first, say so; we count that as a good outcome.
- 1The challengeA hands-on problem, typically one we've dealt with ourselves, so you see what the job is actually like before you commit to it.
- 2Team interviewsYou're figuring out whether this fits as much as we are. If you don't leave with a clear picture, ask harder.
- 3DecisionA clear yes or no, with reasons. We do not ghost.
Open roles
Find the problem you'd want to own.
Pick the part of the system you want to build in. Most roles are Bucharest hybrid; remote is called out where it applies. Open any role for the full scope, the team behind it, and how we hire for it.
Engineering
Build the machine that reads 135M+ companies and notices when any one of them changes. Five problems sit at its core, solving one is hard, and the machine only exists if we solve all five at once.
The size of the universe you'd own
Where you'd come in
Big Data Engineer
Turn 450M+ raw entities into 140M+ real companies, the resolution that everything else stands on.
Crawling Engineer
Read 4.2B pages a month off a web that never holds still.
Data Analyst
Shape the data around a real customer's problem and prove what it can actually do.
Data Delivery Engineer
The data is only as good as it arrives. Move it from graph to customer with nothing lost.
Deeptech Engineer Intern
Handle real production scale years before most engineers get the chance.
ML Engineer
Build the models that read the web in 125 languages, and answer the same every time they're asked.
Software Engineer
Build the products customers actually touch.
Sr. Backend Engineer, Platform & Cloud Systems
Everything the machine knows reaches customers through APIs you'd own.
Careers
Don't see the right fit? Send a note anyway.
We hire for capability and culture, not just against open roles. If you're the kind of person we want to work with, we'll find a way.
